Restructuring of Topaasweg and removal of fraxinus trees

Works are progressing rapidly in the terrain of HVC in Alkmaar with the restructuring of Topaasweg, now property of HVC, for facilitating incoming and outgoing flows of trucks to and from the various facilities. The construction of a new weighbridge on the eastern entrance of Topaasweg meant that some of the existing fraxinus excelsior trees had to be removed and replanted along the new public Zirkoonstraat currently under construction, but also in other suitable locations inside the HVC terrain.

The next phase in the area development of HVC includes the restructuring of the front terrain with the construction of the SDI (Slibdrooginstallatie) building, a maneuvering area for long container trucks (LZVs), a weighbridge for AEC (Afval Energie Centrale) and two new parking areas.
